Scholarship Fund

Established in March of 2001, the Peter’s Creek Coal Association Scholarship Fund was founded to provide scholarships for up and coming Mining Engineers at West Virginia University. These scholarships provide valuable resources to help with educational costs. Previous recipients have gone on to become successful Mining Engineers, Mine Managers, Company CEO’s and COO’s as well as mine owners. Since its inception, the PCCA Scholarship fund has donated more than $150,000.00 to West
Virginia University Mining Engineering Students. While supporting our industry, the Peter’s Creek Coal Association also supports the next generation of miners.
